Edmund Hall

Edmund Hall attended the East London Technical College from 1982 to 1984, earning a Diploma in Graphic Design. His diverse professional background includes experience in retail clothing, managing a gift and curio shop, working as an architectural draughtsman, and currently overseeing operations at a retail bookstore.

During the early 1990s, while living and working in KwaZulu-Natal, he began painting in oils before exploring other mediums such as watercolor, gouache, pen and ink, collage, and digital painting. His varied career has significantly influenced his creative approach, resulting in multilayered works across different mediums. These are broadly categorized under the themes of Renaissance, Palimpsest, and Angelus Novus.

As an active member of the Sunshine Coast Kowie  Camera Club he continues to explore new artistic avenues, integrating imagery and text in innovative ways.
