Keith Erasmus

Born in the Eastern Cape and educated at Grey and Rhodes University, Keith Erasmus is a multifaceted artist whose work spans photography, graphic art, and poetry. His creative journey has taken him across Africa and beyond, leading to solo exhibitions in Great Britain and Germany.

While his artistic pursuits are diverse, he currently focuses on graphic art while continuing to write. His upcoming autobiographical book, blending visual art and poetry, is in development and promises to be a compelling reflection of his artistic vision.

Keith’s drawings are a fusion of mixed media techniques, incorporating various inks, pearlette drops, oil pastels, and charcoal. His work explores mythological, naturalistic, and contemporary themes, imbued with a whimsical and almost magical quality that invites viewers into a world of imagination and depth.
